A Day We'll Never Forget

On 15th August, our team travelled to Manchester AO Arena to attend one of the biggest events in the UK hair and beauty industry – the Hair & Beauty Awards 2026.

The day began with the HBA Connect Event, where we had the opportunity to meet fellow salon owners, industry professionals and exhibitors from across the UK. It was a fantastic chance to network, exchange ideas and see how our industry continues to evolve. After a busy morning, we treated ourselves to a little shopping trip around Manchester city centre before heading back to the hotel.

With pizza delivered to our room, plenty of excitement and a few last-minute touch-ups, we all got ready together before making our way to the awards ceremony. It was such a lovely team-building experience and a chance to celebrate everything we'd achieved together over the past year.

The evening became one we'll remember forever. We are incredibly proud to have been recognised as the 18th Best Beauty Salon in England at the UK Hair & Beauty Awards. Considering there were tens of thousands of entries from salons and professionals across the UK, finishing in the Top 20 is an extraordinary achievement and one that fills us with immense pride.

The celebrations became even sweeter when our Salon Manager and Senior Stylist, Zoë, was also recognised individually, achieving 30th Best for Blonde in the UK. Anyone who knows Zoë knows how passionate she is about creating beautiful blondes and continually developing her skills. She is currently completing Wella's prestigious Colour Expert Programme, one of the highest levels of professional colour education available, making this national recognition even more well deserved.

These awards are a reflection of every member of our team and the commitment they show every single day. From continuous education and training to the genuine care they give every client, this achievement belongs to every one of the girls at Erika's Beauty, and we honestly couldn't be prouder.

HBA Fest – A Night to Celebrate

Once the awards had finished, the celebrations continued at HBA Fest, where the atmosphere was incredible. We enjoyed live performances from artists including Tinchy Stryder, Dappy, Fuse ODG, Junior Andre and Professor Green, while Katie Price took to the stage to present several of the awards. It was the perfect way to celebrate with thousands of other professionals from across the UK who all share the same passion for the hair and beauty industry.

After a truly unforgettable day filled with excitement, laughter and plenty of celebrations, we finally made our journey home just after midnight—tired but incredibly proud.
