Fractional CO₂ Laser Skin Resurfacing
Advanced resurfacing. Powerful skin renewal.
Fractional CO₂ Laser is one of our most advanced corrective skin treatments, designed for clients looking to improve skin texture, scarring and visible signs of ageing.
Using a 10,600 nm CO₂ laser, the treatment creates thousands of microscopic treatment zones while leaving surrounding areas of skin untouched. This fractional approach stimulates the skin’s natural healing response, encouraging new collagen production and skin remodelling.
Results continue to develop over the weeks and months following treatment as collagen is renewed.

Overall skin quality and rejuvenation
Every treatment is individually tailored according to your skin, concerns and desired level of correction.
How Does Fractional CO₂ Work?
Unlike traditional fully ablative resurfacing, Fractional CO₂ does not treat the entire skin surface at once. Instead, thousands of tiny controlled treatment points are created while microscopic areas of surrounding skin remain untouched to support healing.
These controlled micro-injuries trigger the skin’s natural repair response and stimulate collagen production and remodelling. Treatment intensity can be adjusted according to the individual client and the concern being treated.
What Results Can I Expect?
Once the initial healing has settled, the skin may begin to appear smoother, fresher and more even. Collagen remodelling continues over the following weeks and months, meaning improvements in texture, fine lines, scarring and firmness can continue to develop gradually.
Some clients may achieve noticeable improvement following one treatment, while more established concerns such as deeper acne scarring may benefit from a course.
Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

Preparing for Your CO₂ Treatment
Good preparation is an important part of achieving a safe treatment and smooth recovery.
Before treatment:
-
Avoid sunbeds and intentional tanning.
-
Avoid excessive sun exposure and do not attend with recently tanned or sunburnt skin.
-
Use broad-spectrum SPF 50 daily.
-
Tell us about any history of cold sores, pigmentation problems or abnormal scarring.
-
Tell us about all medications and supplements you are taking.
-
Certain active skincare products and other skin treatments may need to be temporarily stopped before CO₂.
-
Arrive on the day with clean skin and no makeup, fake tan or active skincare products on the treatment area.
You will receive personalised preparation instructions following your consultation.
Never stop prescribed medication without speaking to the healthcare professional who prescribed it.
After Your CO₂ Treatment
Fractional CO₂ is an ablative treatment, so downtime should be expected.
Redness, warmth, swelling and sensitivity are normal immediately following treatment. Over the following days the skin may become bronzed, dry, flaky or lightly crusted as it heals.
Initial healing commonly takes approximately 5–10 days, depending on treatment intensity, treatment area and your individual healing response. Some pinkness or redness may remain for longer.
During your recovery:
-
Follow only the skincare routine recommended by your practitioner.
-
Do not pick, peel, scratch or exfoliate the healing skin.
-
Avoid retinol, acids, scrubs and strong active skincare until advised.
-
Avoid makeup while the skin is actively healing.
-
Avoid swimming, hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms.
-
Avoid heavy exercise and excessive sweating during early healing.
-
Avoid direct sun exposure and sunbeds.
-
Use SPF 50 once your skin has healed sufficiently for sunscreen application.
You will receive detailed written instructions and your CO₂ Recovery Kit to support your skin throughout the healing process.
Important to Know
As with any ablative laser procedure, Fractional CO₂ carries potential risks.
These can include prolonged redness, infection, delayed healing, cold-sore reactivation, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation and, rarely, scarring.
Careful client selection, appropriate treatment settings, good preparation, correct aftercare and strict sun protection are therefore extremely important.
Your individual risks will be discussed fully during your consultation before you decide whether to proceed.
