What is a Keratin Treatment?
Keratin treatment is a chemical process that smooths and shines frizzy hair. Think of Keratin as a super strong deep conditioner that penetrates deep into your hair to fill in the porous parts that have been damaged.
There are many different versions of the treatment, and your hairstylist will customise a blend to suit your unique needs.
How long does it take?
The length of time it takes to do a keratin treatment depends on the formula the stylist is using, as well as your hair texture, and how much hair you have. Expect your salon visit to last anywhere from two to four hours. You’re not allowed to tie your hair back with a rubber band for at least 48 hours after the treatment. You must wash your hair 24 hour after initial procedure.
Results can last up to 4 months.

What is hair botox?
Hair on your head loses fullness and elasticity as it ages, just like your skin. Hair Botox is actually a deep conditioning treatment that coats hair fibers with a filler, such as keratin. The treatment fills in any broken or thin areas on each hair strand to make hair appear more full and lustrous.
In general, hair Botox is considered safe for any type of hair, but it’s specifically recommended for split ends, very fine hair, lacking volume or luster, damaged hair, frizzy hair and hair that you want straightened.
What happens during application?
The treatment begins with a shampoo to open your hair cuticles and prepare the strands for conditioning. The hair Botox is then applied to the strands by massaging the product on from root to tips. The treatment is left on wet hair for a period of time, usually between 20–90 minutes.
Then we leave the product on your hair while they dry and straighten your hair to help the product more fully penetrate your hair strands.
You’ll see the results of the Botox hair treatment immediate upon your hair drying.
How effective is hair Botox?
Hair Botox is very popular trend right now. The effects of hair Botox are supposed to last between 1–3 months, although the exact time frame will vary from person to person. It’s recommended that you use a low-sulfate or sulfate-free shampoo to preserve the results.
