Waxing Course

Most popular by both male and female clients, waxing can be a great addition treatment for any beauticians who already have their own business and it is also an ideal course for anyone wishing to take their first steps into the beauty industry.

 

Students who enrol on our waxing course will learn how to apply waxing techniques to individual areas of the body that may require hair removal.

Students will receive:

  • Training manual 

  • Lifetime support

  • Accredited Certification of completion 

 

What you will learn: 

  • Anatomy of skin, hair growth cycle 

  • Skin analysis

  • Health and safety low, sterilisation methods

  • Contraindication

  • Pricing 

  • Client consultation

  • Consent form, GDPR

  • Completing service on two models as part of practical learning. 

  • Prepare and plan for the treatment. 

 

Face to face training – small classroom of 1 or 2 students. 

Pre-requirements - none 

Duration – 10am – 3pm 

Price - £249 

Models needed - you will need 2 models, if you don’t have any, we can arrange them for you. 

 

What happens on the day - We will start with theory first, you will be assessed throughout the training, you will be shown step by step on the first model how to perform the treatment, then you will complete the treatment on your second model with our guidance and support. At the end of course, you will complete a short assessment in form of multiple-choice questionnaire, to show your understanding and knowledge on the subject. 

 

What you will need - All equipment and products are provided for you during the training. You will need 2 models (we could arrange those for you if you need)- models must not shave for at least couple of weeks to allow suitable hair growth.

We provide refreshments, and light snacks, but you might want to bring a packed lunch with you for your training.  

 

Payments - 50% deposit must be paid prior the course to secure the space. The full amount must be paid 2 weeks prior the course. 

 

Upon completion of this course, you will receive a certificate accredited by CENTRE OF CPD EXCELENCE, which will allow you to obtain insurance.
