PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY TO ENSURE YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS. 

 

As of the 25th May 2018 a new Law has come into place to ensure all clients data is being stored and protected efficiently and safely.

We can ensure you that at Erika’s Beauty, we are storing all personal data in a locked filing cabinet and secured online booking system.

All the self-employed and employed staff on the premises are completely aware of the GDPR rules and regulations and keep to these strict regulations when in salon. So only these people will have access to handling your data. 

The data in which we require in salon; when booking your appointment over the phone or face to face we will need to ask for your name and contact number. We will need this to remind you of your appointment, contact you in case we need to reschedule your appointment, contact you to secure your appointment by a booking fee, or to call you if you don’t show. You can opt out of reminder calls at any time.

Following this; when you come to your appointment, a consultation form will be handed over to you face to face on your very first appointment. This form will ask for any health problems that may affect your service in salon and will contain general questions we see useful for carrying out your service. 

If You book in for a colour service, you will need to fill in a record card so that we can keep a record of your colour for each time you visit.

You can ask to see your record card at any time you wish, please just ask a member of staff and you can have your information changed or destroyed at any time. 

If you chose for your information to be destroyed, you will no longer be able to book an appointment with us in salon. This is because we are required to keep your data for legal and insurance purposes. All information from your initial appointment will be stored for up to 5 years before it is safely destroyed, unless you are still a client of the salon. 

We do not use your personal data for anything other than contacting you about your appointment.

We will not pass your information on to any third party.  We will not use your personal information for marketing purposes. 

If you would not like your photograph to feature on our website or social media, we will also ask for your permission to opt out.

Any information that is given to us via our website, social media or booking system is only accessible via employed or self-employed Staff members and you can request any messages that contain any personal information to be deleted. 

We access our website and social media via the salon's tablet, salon's phone and computer.

The only messages we can accept will be through www.erikasbeauty.co.uk  OR  info@erikasbeauty.co.uk on Facebook page and Instagram page OR 01332737765. We will not be able to accept messages through our personal phones/accounts. 

For children under the age of 16 we will need a signature for parental consent on your initial consent form.
