PRF/ VAMPIRE Facial Treatment

It is due to loss of collagen and elastin we can start notice first signs of ageing on our skin (wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, loss of volume in our skin… The human blood(plasma) contains all the necessary elements for the normal functioning of the cells and the body as well as its own metabolism of renewal.

To stimulate collagen production, tighten loose skin and add volume back to the face there are many non-surgical options which we offer at our clinic, including dermal fillers, anti-ageing injections, thread lifts, laser facials and platelet rich plasma (PRP) and finally- platelet rich fibrin (PRF).

Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a new, improved, all-natural solution that can treat common areas that show the first signs of ageing and hair loss, or clients who are buttling acne, scars, stretch marks, oily skin, problematic or dry skin.

During standard PRP (platelet rich plasma) treatment in one sample tube, studies shows, there can be 2-5 times the level of platelets typically found in our body, in comparison to PRF where it contained approximately 10 times the platelets concentration that is found in our body! Another biggest reason why PRF is that much more effective than PRP is that it gives patients the same benefits as PRP, while also releasing more growth factors overtime which means that it continues working for you even after the procedure.

The first visible results after PRF treatment could be seen within couple of weeks post treatment, the maximum effect is reached in about six to eight weeks. A course of four sessions might be required, spaced 6-8 weeks apart. The results can last up to 12 months. Client will need a consultation with one of our practitioners prior PRF/PRP treatment to discuss any concerns they might have and create a future treatment plan.

After Care

  • Avoid using any cosmetic products such as foundation, powders for 24 hours to avoid causing infection.

  • Do not wash your face or apply water on your face for 24 hours. Opened wounds must have enough time to heal. Don’t use any sponges, brushes or scrubs, also any products containing alcohol.

  • No swimming in swimming pool for at least 2 weeks. Sauna, steam bath, swimming pool can irritate injured skin, and contribute to the active growth of bacteria in a humid environment.

  • Avoid direct sun light , or sunbeds for at least 2 weeks and make sure you wear spf 50 every day.

  • Avoid excessive sweating, especially after hair restoration treatment to avoid causing infection.

  • Alcohol slows down the recovery processes of the body, and contributes to increased swelling. Most importantly on the first day of your treatment avoid drinking alcohol, but the best solution would be a healthy lifestyle during the course of plasma lifting.

  • Bruises and hematomas may appear at the injection sites. Do not worry, they will go away in 2-3 days on their own.

Platelet-Rich Plasma Face Lift

PRP Vampire FACE LIFT

What Is a PRP Facial? Platelet Rich Plasma therapy uses your own blood platelets to rejuvenate the facial skin, which is why it's called the vampire facial throughout beauty magazines and websites. To begin, we take a small amount of blood from the client’s arm. We will spin the blood tubes in a centrifuge machine, which is designed to produce platelets. Then we will be able to inject the plasma back into your skin
(including areas of your concern) for its healing and growth benefits or additionally preform microneedling technique using your plasma.

How many treatments do I need?

We recommend 3 – 4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart though the number and length between treatments could vary depending on client’s needs.

How long does the results last?

While dermal fillers are absorbed by the body within 6 months to a year, requiring another treatment, PRP/PRF therapy lasts for 1 to 2 years. The results are gradual and vary with each person though typically you could see improvements in skin tone and texture within weeks and further improvements will continue for several months to come
